Surprise! Lewat akun Instagram-nya, Taylor Swift mengumumkan bahwa malam ini waktu Amerika Serikat ia akan meluncurkan single sekaligus video klip yang berjudul ME! Nggak sendirian, di lagu ini Taylor juga akan berduet dengan Brendon Urie, pendiri sekaligus satu-satunya personel asli yang masih bertahan di grup band Panic! At The Disco.
Sebenarnya Taylor sempat memberikan kode keras dari beberapa hari sebelumnya bahwa ia akan merilis lagu baru pada Jumat ini. Lewat sebuah wawancara singkat dengan ABC, kekasih Joe Alwyn tersebut memberikan sedikit bocoran tentang lagu barunya. “Lagu ini tentang menerima dirimu dan merayakannya.” Well, sepertinya Taylor akan bicara banyak tentang self-love dan self-acceptance di lagu ini.
